How quickly will you learn German?

Each language level is split into two sub-levels. For example, A1 is comprised of A1.1 and A1.2. With each four week course you complete, you will advance one sub-level.
A1.1 = 4 weeks
A1.2 = 4 weeks
A2.1 = 4 weeks
and so on…

WHO NEEDS A VISA?

Citizens of some countries do not need a visa to enter Germany. You can find a current list of these countries here. Please note: If you enter Germany on a tourist visa, it is not possible to extend this visa to a study or language school visa during your stay in Germany. You can only apply for a language course or language study visa in your home country. With a language study visa, you can apply for a 3-12 month stay in Germany.

WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY FOR A VISA FOR A LANGUAGE STAY?

Of course, you can also attend our language courses with a tourist visa. If you enter the country on a tourist visa, you can only study during the validity period of your visa (usually 90 days). Language study visas can be extended up to 12 months. Please remember that you must apply for a language study visa in your home country.

DO I NEED TO PAY IN ADVANCE?

Visa applicants need to pay for all courses in advance because we can only confirm booked and paid courses to the embassy. The embassy normally requires a minimum booking of 3 months. Students can decide for themselves if they wish to apply for a 6-12 month visa and therefore pay these courses in advance or if they wish to apply for a 3-month visa first and then prolong the visa in Germany on a regular basis.

We will send you the document by email after you have completed your booking. If necessary, the document will also be sent to you by mail. Please keep in mind that this may take 2-3 weeks. If you need the document by express mail, you will have to pay for it yourself.
