Conduct admission interviews, write biography reports, deal with dementia, and use the terminology and documentation for cardiovascular diseases and pressure ulcer prophylaxis.
Interaction & organisation
Complaint management, professional team meetings, empathetic conversations in difficult situations (e.g. offering condolences), as well as phone calls and email correspondence within the team.
Documentation & prophylaxis
Write legally sound nursing reports, formulate care plans with resources and goals, deal with MRSA, and write accident reports.
Teamwork, law & self-care
Structured shift handovers and patient transfers, legal foundations (Medical Devices Act, medical delegation, restraints), as well as strategies for burnout prevention and peer consultation.

Questions About the German Course for Nursing Professionals
For the online evening German course for nursing you should have a completed B1 level so that you can follow the lessons well. The focus is on the language of nursing professions and its particularities – not on reaching a specific exam level. If you have not yet reached B1, our intensive courses from A1 will prepare you to join.
The course comprises 10 modules in four thematic blocks: (1) from admission interviews to wound care, (2) interaction and organisation within the team, (3) legally sound documentation and prophylaxis, and (4) shift handovers, legal foundations and self-care. This covers the key speaking and writing situations of everyday nursing.
The online evening German course for nursing (B1/B2) costs {pflegeAbendDePrice} for the entire course (24 weeks, 96 teaching units). The price includes all learning materials and the final certificate. Separate prices apply for private lessons.
The course lasts 24 weeks. Lessons take place twice a week in the evening – Mondays and Thursdays from 18:15 to 19:45 – with a total of 96 teaching units. The focus is on the technical language of nursing; thanks to the long course duration, many participants also improve their general language level along the way, typically by about one CEFR sublevel.

For professional recognition, the State Examination Office for Health Professions in Berlin requires a recognized B2 language certificate; the TELC B2 course specifically prepares you for its language requirements.
