Questions about the English Sprachtreff
The English Sprachtreff is an informal online meeting where you can improve your English in a relaxed atmosphere. In small groups of 3–6 participants, you discuss current and varied topics – a new discussion topic is prepared each time. Meetings take place via Zoom and are moderated by our team. If you'd like to practise your English more intensively, also check out our English conversation course.
No, you just need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access. The meetings take place via Zoom – so you can participate comfortably from home or on the go. A camera and microphone are recommended so you can actively participate in discussions.

The English Sprachtreff is aimed at anyone who wants to deepen their English speaking practice and make new contacts. Whether you're already attending an English intensive course or English evening course and looking for additional practice, or simply want to improve your everyday English. Participants are grouped by language level.
Each meeting is moderated and thematically prepared by our team. You meet in a small group of 3–6 people via Zoom and discuss the prepared topic interactively – entirely in English. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal.
For the English Sprachtreff, you should have at least basic English skills (from level A2). Groups are assembled by level so you feel comfortable and challenged. If you're unsure whether your level is suitable, we're happy to advise you via our contact form.
The Sprachtreff is an informal, moderated conversation meeting with changing discussion topics – the focus is on free speaking in a relaxed atmosphere. The English conversation course, on the other hand, is a structured course with targeted grammar and vocabulary training alongside conversation. Both formats complement each other ideally.
