Conversation Course – English
A2/B1Intermediate Level
For participants with solid basic knowledge (A2/B1). You discuss current topics, share experiences, and practice expressing opinions. Vocabulary is systematically expanded.
Prerequisite: Sprachniveau A1 abgeschlossen

Conversation Course – English
B2/C1Advanced Level
For highly advanced participants (B2/C1). You discuss abstract topics, analyze texts, and practice rhetorical nuances. Perfection of expression and style.

Questions about the English Conversation Course
Our English conversation course is aimed at participants from language level A1 onwards who want to actively use their English skills. For absolute beginners without any prior knowledge, we recommend the English intensive course first to build a solid foundation. If you're unsure where you stand linguistically, you can take our free placement test.
Topics are flexibly based on participants' wishes and interests – whether current events, travel, culture, work, or everyday situations. Our experienced instructors prepare suitable conversation starters and prompts. If you want to improve your English specifically for professional contexts, our Business English course could also be an interesting addition.
The English conversation course spans four weeks and takes place once a week on Fridays. You can choose between three time slots: 8:30 to 11:30 AM, 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM, or 6:00 to 9:00 PM. The course comprises a total of 16 teaching units. You can find current start dates and prices further up on this page, where you can also register directly. Our conversation course takes place in small groups of at least 4 and a maximum of 12 participants. This group size is deliberately chosen: large enough for diverse conversations yet small enough for everyone to have sufficient speaking time.
In an appreciative and error-friendly atmosphere, you practise free speaking in everyday situations. Our instructors use targeted methods to encourage you to speak spontaneously and without overthinking. Additionally, our free English Sprachtreff offers an extra opportunity to consolidate what you've learned in a relaxed setting.
While our English grammar course focuses on rules and sentence structures, the conversation course centres on active speaking. Many participants combine both course formats to strengthen both their theoretical knowledge and practical speaking ability.
After successful participation in all four course sessions, you receive a certificate of attendance from our language institute documenting the course scope of 16 teaching units and the conversation focus.
Of course! Particularly popular combinations are with the grammar course or the Business English course. Our intensive course is also an excellent preparation.
