TestDaF Course FAQ
You should have completed at least the B2 level. TestDaF tests at levels B2 to C1. The higher your starting level, the better your chances of achieving a high TDN.
TestDaF is specifically designed for university admission and is offered worldwide at licensed test centers. The exam is computer-based and rated with TDN levels (3-5). Telc exams are more general and offered at various levels.
The TestDaF exam is held several times a year at licensed test centers. There are several test centers in Berlin. We are happy to advise you on exam dates and registration.
TDN stands for TestDaF-Niveaustufe (TestDaF Level). There are three levels: TDN 3, TDN 4, and TDN 5. Most universities require TDN 4 in all four exam sections for admission.
Yes, you can retake the TestDaF exam as many times as you like. There is no waiting period between exams. Note, however, that each exam is subject to a fee.
