You'll receive an official course confirmation with all important information: course dates, times, number of hours, course price, and payment confirmation. This document is recognized by embassies worldwide.
After payment is received, you'll get the course confirmation by email within 2-3 business days. Postal delivery takes 1-3 weeks depending on the destination country.
Yes, you can extend your course at any time. We'll then issue a new course confirmation that you can submit to the immigration office for extending your visa.
Nationals of some countries do not need a visa to enter Germany. You can find a current list of these countries here. Please note: If you enter Germany with a tourist visa, it is not possible to extend this visa to a study or language school visa while in Germany. You can only apply for a visa for a language course or language study in your home country. With a language study visa, you can apply for a stay of 3-12 months in Germany.
Of course, you can also attend our language courses with a tourist visa. If you enter with a tourist visa, you can only study during the validity period of your visa (usually 90 days). Language study visas can be extended for up to 12 months. Please remember that you must apply for the language study visa in your home country.
Visa applicants must pay for all courses in advance, as we can only confirm booked and paid courses to the embassy. The embassy usually requires a minimum booking period of 3 months. Students can decide for themselves whether they want to apply for a visa for 6-12 months and therefore pay for these courses in advance, or whether they first apply for a 3-month visa and then regularly extend the visa in Germany.
Each language level is divided into two sub-levels. For example, A1 consists of A1.1 and A1.2. With each four-week course you complete, you advance by one sub-level. A1.1 = 4 weeks, A1.2 = 4 weeks, A2.1 = 4 weeks, and so on…
Visa language course participants receive our free "Light" cancellation insurance: 90% refund of course fees up to 7 days before the course starts (proof required).
Yes, rebooking is possible. The first rebooking for visa courses is free of charge. From the second rebooking onwards, a fee of €10 applies per change.
