Why a Spanish intensive course?
In the intensive course you immerse yourself in the language: regular lessons on several days a week lead to fast, tangible progress – ideal if you want to build up your Spanish quickly for work, university or time abroad. In small groups of 4 to 12 participants you get plenty of speaking time, practise realistic everyday situations and are guided step by step to the next level by native-speaking teachers.
Spanish Intensive Course for Beginners and Advanced Learners
Would you like to learn Spanish quickly and effectively? Our Spanish intensive course gets you speaking in the shortest possible time! The course runs Monday to Thursday over 4 weeks with a total of 64 teaching units. Thanks to daily lessons in small groups with native-speaking teachers, you make especially fast progress. Spanish Intensive Course
A1A1 – Beginner
For participants with no or very little knowledge of Spanish
This course introduces you to the basics of the Spanish language, including pronunciation, the differences between ser and estar, and fundamental sentence structures. You will learn to introduce yourself, handle simple everyday interactions, and understand short spoken and written texts. Spanish pronunciation rules and the rhythmic patterns of the language are covered from the very start.
What you will learn:
- Learn Spanish pronunciation including the rolled r, ñ, and stress patterns
- Understand and correctly use ser and estar in basic contexts
- Introduce yourself, ask and answer personal questions, and exchange contact information
- Handle everyday situations such as shopping, ordering food, and asking for directions
- Use present tense regular and key irregular verbs in simple sentences

A2A2 – Elementary
For participants with basic knowledge of Spanish who can handle simple everyday situations
This course builds on your existing foundation and develops your ability to communicate in a wider range of everyday situations. You will learn past tenses including the pretérito indefinido and pretérito perfecto, talk about experiences and routines, and write short texts. The course also introduces reflexive verbs and basic object pronouns.
What you will learn:
- Narrate past events using the pretérito indefinido and pretérito perfecto
- Describe daily routines, habits, and leisure activities in detail
- Use reflexive verbs and direct/indirect object pronouns correctly
- Write short emails, messages, and descriptions of people and places
- Understand and participate in simple conversations about familiar topics

For participants who can already communicate in everyday situations and want to express themselves more confidently
At this level, you will gain the tools to express opinions, talk about plans and hypothetical situations, and engage with authentic Spanish media. The subjunctive mood is introduced alongside more complex tense usage. You will also explore cultural differences across the Spanish-speaking world and improve your ability to understand native speakers at natural speed.
What you will learn:
- Express opinions, agree, disagree, and justify your point of view on familiar topics
- Use the subjuntivo in common contexts such as wishes, recommendations, and emotions
- Understand the main ideas of news broadcasts, podcasts, and articles in Spanish

A course block usually runs for 4 weeks with around 12 hours of lessons per week. We also recommend planning some time for revision and exercises.
