With our Business German courses you learn German for everyday business life starting at level B2.1. We do not offer specific courses for Business German below this level, as the German courses for beginners at the A-level focus on the acquisition of other skills.
In our German language courses for business you learn how to use German in a professional environment. The topics include:
- How to write professional e-mails?
- How does small talk and conversation function at the workplace? What are the behavioural guidelines to be considered?
- Job-specific vocabulary and its correct use.
The course “German for Business” is suitable for you if you would like to master your everyday professional life in German and improve your job-related German skills. Learn German at a high level – based on the general language use of our A-courses.

We offer the following Business German courses at our language school in Berlin-Mitte:
German course B2.1
You can understand longer speeches and lectures at the B2.1 level. You can give clear and detailed presentations from your fields of interest and explain your point of view.
German course B2.2
After completing the B2.2 level you will have the necessary language skills to work in Germany. You can give detailed information on a variety of topics and explain your point of view with solid arguments. You will be able to understand most films and news programmes in the German standard language.
In our German courses for advanced students, we focus specifically on German for business to make you fit for your career and life in Germany.
German course C1.1
At the C1.1 level you already speak German fluently. You can understand long, complex factual as well as literary texts and know how to use German flexibly in social and professional life. You only commit very few errors and can express yourself explicitly.
German course C1.2
After completing the C1.2 level you can understand technical articles and longer technical instructions, even if they are not from your field of expertise. You can express yourself precisely and link your own contributions with those of others in a skillful way.
German course C2.1 and C2.2

All off our Business German courses can be taken as semi-intensive or intensive course:
Intensive German courses for full-time learners:
- 64 units* per course.
- Monday to Donnerstag (3 hours per day).
- Choose your preferred course time:
- 8:30 – 11:30,
- 11:45 – 14:45 or
- 3:00 to 6:00.
- Price: Only 359€ for 4 weeks
*1 unit = 45 minutes
Semi-intensive German evening courses for professionals:
- 64 units* per course.
- Every Tuesday & Thursday.
- 3 hours per day.
- Evening classes: 18:15 – 21:15
- Price: Only 359€ for 8 weeks.
*1 teaching unit = 45 minutes
