For participants with no or very little prior knowledge

At the A1 level you start from scratch and acquire the fundamental building blocks of English. You learn to introduce yourself, ask and answer simple questions, and handle basic everyday situations.

For participants with basic English knowledge

At the A2 level you significantly expand your vocabulary and consolidate your ability to communicate in everyday situations. You can make yourself understood in standard situations and write simple texts.

For participants with solid basic knowledge

At the B1 level you begin to use English independently. You can follow conversations, report on experiences, and make yourself understood in most everyday situations.

For participants with good English skills

At the B2 level you communicate fluently and spontaneously. You handle complex topics, understand news broadcasts, and master professional communication at a high level.

For participants with advanced knowledge

At the C1 level you achieve proficient language use. You understand demanding texts, express yourself with precision, and communicate at an academic and professional level.
