After registering for one of our German courses or English courses, you will be placed in a language level during your personal coaching interview. This is done by means of a language test which we have developed especially for this purpose and which consists of a written and an oral part. Based on the test result, we will then together select the language course that is the best fit for you. In this way, we guarantee you the greatest possible benefit and rapid progress. We offer you an free online English placement test, a German test for A1 and A2, as well as a German test for B1 and B2.
A maximum of 10 students take part in our courses. This maximum number of participants is only used in exceptional cases. Mostly, our groups have 6 to 8 participants. In this way we guarantee that each participant gets as much speaking and practicing time as possible.
Basically it is possible to take several of our courses at the same time at our language school in Berlin-Mitte. However, it is important to note that it does not have to be German or English courses of different levels, but different special courses. Especially popular are the combinations of grammar and conversation courses. We would be happy to consult you about the possibilities in our office.
Within one and the same month your course time remains the same. However, you are welcome to change it for the following month. Please note, however, that some courses are always fully booked very early. It is therefore best to decide which is the best time for you before you register for one of our language courses.
You can reserve a course without obligation at our office. We will then guarantee it for you until a fixed date. If you do not pay for the course by this date, you lose your participation guarantee. This means that you can only take part in the course you have chosen if no other participants register.
You are welcome to purchase your personal textbook for the course on the first day of the course at our office. However, some of our language teachers also work with special course materials which you can buy in the usual bookshops.
There is no official exam at the end of our courses. However, depending on the course and language level, our language teachers decide whether they have to take an exam at the end of the course or in between.
After booking the corresponding German course, we will send you a confirmation of enrolment which you can use for the visa application. Unfortunately we cannot issue a “conditional admission letter from German universities”.
You can pay at our office with EC card or credit card. From abroad you can pay by bank transfer, credit card or Paypal.
A course can be cancelled up to 14 days before the start of the course without giving reasons and the fees paid will be refunded by us. In case of cancellation due to a non-refunded visa, the course fees will also be refunded up to 7 days before the course starts. However, for this you will need to provide appropriate proof.
Furthermore, there is the possibility of a cancellation insurance in case of non-attendance of a course (before the beginning of the course) or in case of cancellation (during the course). These insurances are only valid for one booked course.
With this insurance you can cancel the course up to one day before start of the course. The additional cost is 5% of the course fee.
With this insurance you can cancel the course before and also during the duration of the course and will be reimbursed the remaining course costs. The additional costs are 10% of the course fee.
However, the costs for the cancellation insurance are not refundable.
